Sangrur, 10 October:- MLA from the Sangrur Assembly constituency, Mrs. Narinder Kaur Bharaj, distributed property cards to residents of the villages of Thalesa and Harkishanpura under the ‘Mera Ghar, Mere Naam’ scheme. On the occasion, she said that documentary proof of home ownership is important for every family, and the scheme is a significant initiative to provide people with clear identification of their homes.
Mrs. Bharaj said that a home is connected with every person’s hard work, family memories and hopes for the future. Receiving documents confirming home ownership gives families confidence and brings clarity to property records. She said that the distribution of property cards would make it easier for villagers to maintain records relating to ownership of their homes.
The MLA said that the Punjab Government, under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, is working while keeping in view the needs associated with people’s everyday lives. She said that, along with developing basic amenities in villages, ensuring that people receive the benefits of government schemes in an efficient manner is also a priority.
Mrs. Narinder Kaur Bharaj said that continuous coordination between the concerned departments and villagers is essential to ensure that the benefits of the ‘Mera Ghar, Mere Naam’ scheme reach every eligible family. She instructed officials to resolve people’s queries and issues related to records under the scheme in a timely manner and to provide the necessary information in a simple and accessible way.
She appealed to the people receiving property cards to keep these documents safe and carefully check the details recorded in them. If any clarification or correction is required regarding the details, they should contact the concerned officials.
The MLA said that efforts would continue to undertake development works in the villages of the Sangrur Assembly constituency according to people’s needs and to improve access to government services. She assured residents that she would remain in regular contact with them to resolve their issues.
