Ratia, May 7:- Under the holy presence of the Anandam Foundation, Maharishi Alok Ji's Sambodhi Diwas was celebrated with great enthusiasm amidst a trinity of faith, joy, and devotion at the Jain Samadhi premises located on Budhlada Road, Ratia. On this auspicious occasion, the present seekers extended heartfelt greetings to each other on Maharishi's Sambodhi Diwas. On Wednesday, the Jain Samadhi complex was illuminated with a divine glow when Maharishi Alok Ji made his auspicious arrival at the Sambodhi Mahotsav. Amidst a shower of flowers and echoing slogans of victory, devotees welcomed Maharishi Ji from the bottom of their hearts.
On this holy occasion, hundreds of devotees from every corner of the country, including Haryana, Punjab, Rajasthan, Delhi, Chandigarh, and Maharashtra, felt deeply Grateful in the presence of Maharishi Ji. The festival had a sweet beginning with the holy Aarti of Maharishi Alok Ji. Thereafter, Maharishi Alok Ji blessed the devotees with his nectar-like discourses. Explaining the essence of Sambodhi, he said that self-realization is the supreme treasure of life. This human body becomes meaningful only by following the path of sacrifice, penance, and compassion. Giving the formula 'Living in the present is Meditation', Maharishi Ji said that when the mind neither wanders in the repentance of yesterday nor wavers in the apprehension of tomorrow, only then can it see its eternal form. Awareness of every breath is the golden step to Sambodhi.
He said that true religion is to abandon lust, anger, greed, and attachment and to imbibe truth, non-violence, and love in life. Proclaiming 'Service to humanity is service to God', he called upon everyone to dedicate themselves to the welfare of all living beings. Describing meditation as a natural state, he said that it blooms on its own in the complete awareness of the present.
The melodious waves of Bhajananjali and the unbroken silence of collective meditation drenched the minds and souls of the devotees with divine bliss. Mahaprasad was distributed at the conclusion. The organizing committee expressed humble gratitude at the feet of Maharishi Alok Ji and thanked all the religion-loving gentlemen. On this occasion, officials of the organizing committee, prominent citizens of the city, and a large number of seekers were present.
