Hoshiarpur- Under the leadership of Guru Ravidas Sadhu Sampradai Society (Regd.), Punjab, the historic Begumpura Damri Shobha Yatra, which was started for the promotion and propagation of the revolutionary ideology of Satguru Ravidas Maharaj Ji and the great leaders of the community, is witnessing great enthusiasm and devotion among devotees from across the country and abroad, and a large number of devotees will participate in the Shobha Yatra.
Expressing these views, National President of Adi Dharm Sadhu Samaj Sant Sarwan Das Salemtawari, Senior Vice President of Guru Ravidas Sadhu Sampradai Society, and Sant Satvinder Heera, National President of All India Adi Dharm Mission Bharat, said that for the last two decades, under the able leadership of the great scholar of the community Sant Mahapursh Sant Sarwan Das Ji Bohan, Chairman Guru Ravidas Sadhu Sampradai Society, Sant Nirmal Das Babejode President, Sant Inder Das Sekhe General Secretary, Sant Parmjeet Das Nagar Cashier and saints and spiritual leaders from various deras, the historic Begumpura Damri Shobha Yatra has now gained recognition at the global level.
They said that on 3 April in Punjab and on 4 and 5 April up to Haridwar, the massive gathering of devotees presents a unique and divine sight.
Sant Sarwan Das and Sant Satvinder Heera said that the main objective of the Shobha Yatra is to promote and propagate the revolutionary teachings of Satguru Ravidas Maharaj and to make a significant contribution in taking the movement of economic, social and political transformation led by the great leaders of Adi Dharm such as Babu Mangu Ram Mugowalia, Baba Sahib Dr Bhim Rao Ambedkar and Babu Kanshi Ram to every section of society.
They said that the historic Begumpura Haridwar Damri Shobha Yatra will begin on 3 April 2026 from Railway Station Jalandhar and on 5 April the 649th Prakash Purab of Satguru Ravidas Maharaj Ji will be celebrated with devotion at Haridwar.
