Jammu:- The function was started by Ragi Bhai Amitpal Singh and Bhai Jatinderpal Singh along with their Jatha with a lively Kirtan. Thousands of devotees were spiritually connected with the sacred hymns of Guru Sahib and the entire court resonated with peace and devotion.
After the Kirtan, the academy organized a Punjabi Kavi Darbar, in which Bachan Bharti, Balwinder Singh (Jammu), Bhupinder Singh Bhargava, Suraj Singh, and Saran Star presented their emotional poetry on the martyrdom and teachings of Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji. The poets expressed the legacy, sacrifice and spiritual philosophy of Guru Sahib with great beauty through their words.
On this occasion, Shri Popdar Singh Paras, Senior Editor Shiraja Punjabi, shared inspiring thoughts on the life, teachings and sacrifice of Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji. He portrayed Guru Ji as a global symbol of religious freedom, human rights and peace.
During the event, a book exhibition was also organized by the Academy, in which the books published by the Academy in Punjabi, Dogri, Hindi and other languages ??were displayed. The exhibition was well managed by Shri Vipan Sharma (Sales Assistant) and Shri Trilok Singh (Stage Hand).
The proceedings of the event were conducted by Suraj Singh, while S. Balbir Singh, Secretary Gurdwara Sri Guru Singh Sabha, Bikram Nagar, proposed the vote of thanks.
