Nawanshahr:- On this occasion, C.H.T. Balkar Chand said that: "India's Independence Day is a very special and a symbol of pride for all of us countrymen. Today's day reminds us of those immortal martyrs and freedom fighters, due to whose tireless efforts and heavy sacrifices our country was freed from the chains of slavery. Countless great heroes sacrificed their lives. It is only due to their arduous struggle and selfless sacrifice that today we are breathing in free and open air. The country today salutes the martyrdom of these great bravehearts and takes a pledge never to forget their great sacrifice.
Along with getting independence, preserving and safeguarding it is the biggest responsibility of all of us citizens. The youth and students of the country should study with dedication, so that they can lay the foundation of the bright future of the country. 
* Moral duty: Keeping cleanliness around, protecting the environment and respecting elders is the moral duty of every citizen.
Today's occasion is not only for celebrating, but also for dedicating oneself to the service of the country. On this occasion, staff members of the school were also present.
