Haroli/Una, September 24 (Rajveer Chopra):- A health check-up camp was organised at Gram Panchayat Kangar through the joint efforts of Health Block Haroli and Sansad Mobile Health Service operated by Prayas Society. Through the Sansad Mobile Health Service, healthcare facilities are being provided to people in rural areas near their doorsteps.
A total of 80 patients underwent health check-ups (OPD) at the camp, while various health tests were conducted for 45 people. The health team listened to the health problems of the patients, provided necessary medical advice and also made medicines available to those in need.
Health facilities now available to villagers in their own village:
During the camp, villagers were provided facilities for health check-ups, various tests, medicines and medical consultation. The health team sensitised people about getting regular health check-ups, taking a balanced diet and seeking timely medical advice in case of any health-related problem. The facility of getting health check-ups within the village was particularly useful for elderly people and women engaged in household responsibilities.

Dr. Sudhi Kaushal, Dr. Pradeep Kumar, Nihal Singh, Manish, Ruchi, ASHA worker, Anganwadi worker and CHO Anjali Chandel provided their services at the camp.
The villagers expressed their gratitude to Health Block Haroli, Sansad Mobile Health Service, Prayas Society and the health team for providing health check-ups, tests, medicines and medical consultation facilities in the village.
