Chandigarh, March 6:- Haryana Governor Prof. Asim Kumar Fosh and Haryana Chief Minister Mr. Naib Singh Saini on Thursday jointly released a souvenir related to MP Sports Festival of Sirsa Lok Sabha constituency.
The MP Sports Festival was organized from September 21 to September 25, 2025. Rajya Sabha MP Mr. Subhash Barala said that the MP Sports Festival is being organized continuously in line with Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi's dedication towards sports and his goal of providing a big platform to budding players.
He said that for the first time in India, sports under the leadership of the Prime Minister have not been limited to just medals or performances, but have become a part of the national policy of youth development and nation building. Initiatives like Khelo India, Fit India Movement and National Sports Policy are the result of the fact that sports are at the centre of both leadership and society.
