Hansi:- The 557th Prakash Parv of Guru Nanak Dev is being celebrated with great enthusiasm. On the occasion of Guru Nanak Dev's Prakash Parv, the Managing Committee of Gurudwara Baba Banda Singh Bahadur Sabzi Mandi, Hansi, organised a huge Nagar Kirtan on the main roads of the city with great humming. Managing Committee Secretary Sardar Satwant Singh Ghai informed that the grand Nagar Kirtan began at 11 am under the leadership of the Panj Pyaro under the shadow of Guru Granth Sahib.
In which Market Committee Chairman Dinesh Dhawan, along with the Sadh Sangat, prayed at the feet of Guru Sahib and sent off the Nagar Kirtan. In which the main attraction was the beautiful Palki Sahib of Guru Granth Sahib, the fighting Singhs of Teg Khalsa Gatka Akhara Bighad (Fatehabad) displayed feats of martial arts at the main squares of the city.
Sangat was stunned to see these and there were tableaux of slogans based on the teachings of Guru Nanak Dev for the welfare of humanity, tableaux of Shabad Kirtan by the small children of Baba Banda Bahadur School. Wherever the Nagar Kirtan passed through the main roads of the city. On every road along the way, stalls of different types of Prasad were being set up and distributed. Nagar Kirtan was welcomed with great fanfare everywhere with flower garlands.
The Nagar Kirtan started from the Gurudwara and passed through Bhagat Singh Road, Old Bus Stand, Badsi Gate, Umra Gate, Bajaria Chowk, Dhaula Kuan, Char Qutub Gate, Tikona Park, Baba Sweets, Nahar Kothi Road, Durga Colony, Sainik School, Roop Nagar Colony Main Road, Bank Colony Road in front of Nirankari Bhawan and reached back to the Gurudwara at 5 pm. All the services were performed by the Baba Banda Singh Bahadur Yuva Seva Dal team consisting of Manoj Juneja, Prabhjot Singh Dhingra, Himanshu Dhingra, Mohit Makkar, Lavish Singh Nagpal, Bunty Singh Khalsa and other volunteers.
Managing Committee President Subhash Girdhar and General Secretary Ram Prakash Paruthi, Munish Pahwa, Madan Kathuria, Jitendra Dhingra, Aman Singh, Narendra Singh, Joginder Singh Bhayana thanked all the residents of the city for their cooperation in organizing the program and requested them to attend the great Kirtan Darbar to be held tomorrow.
