Hoshiarpur- Former MP Avinash Rai Khanna paid obeisance at Gurdwara Sahib on the occasion of the 556th birth anniversary of Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji. On this occasion, Khanna congratulated the countrymen and said that Guru Parb is celebrated with devotion on November 5, Guru Nanak Jayanti, it is a common festival of Hindus and Sikhs.
This festival is also celebrated as Prakash Parb. Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji taught the lesson of harmony to the whole world during his Udasis and connected the world with the Akal Purakh Param Pita Parmatma.
Khanna said that today it is the demand of the time that we should make our human life successful by following the teachings of Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji. On this occasion, Khanna bowed to Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji and appealed to the society to follow his teachings.
