Karnal, June 08: The Martyrdom Day of the fifth Guru of the Sikhs, Sri Guru Arjan Dev Ji, will be celebrated with devotion on June 18 at Dera Kar Sewa Gurdwara with religious programs and Gurmat ceremonies. This event is being organized by the Guru Parb Parbandhak Committee, Dera Kar Sewa Karnal with the special support of Panth Pracharak Baba Sukha Singh, Dera Head Dera Kar Sewa. This information was given by the General Secretary of the Guru Parb Parbandhak Committee, Sardar Inderpal Singh.
He said that a meeting of the Guru Parb Parbandhak Committee was organized regarding the preparations for organizing the Martyrdom Day, which was chaired by the President of the Committee, Varinder Singh. Rattan Singh, Gurpal Singh Doni, Harmeet Singh Happy and Tejinder Singh Doni were also present in the meeting.
Sardar Inderpal Singh Doni said that on June 18, a Gurmat Samagam will be organized from 9 am to 3 pm and from 6:30 pm to 10:30 pm. During this, various ragis and dhadi jathas will sing the praises of Guru Sahib.
In the event, Bhai Gurdit Singh Hazuri Ragi, Sri Darbar Sahib Amritsar; Gurpreet Singh Hazuri Ragi, Paonta Sahib; Bhai Amritpal Singh, Head Granthi Gurdwara Manji Sahib; Bhai Gursewak Singh Hazuri Ragi, Sri Singh Sabha Gurdwara Model Town; Balwinder Singh Hazuri Ragi, Gurdwara Manji Sahib and Bhai Gulab Singh, Gurdwara Shaheed Baba Deep Singh will specially present Kirtan and Gurbani thoughts.
Apart from this, the responsibility of Nitnem and Paath will be carried out by Bhai Manzoor Singh and Bhai Gurpreet Singh. Guru's unbreakable langar will also be served during the event. He appealed to the entire Sangat to come in maximum numbers and attend the Guru's feet.
