Chandigarh, October 28:- Gujarat, the birthplace of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, is set to become an important partner in Haryana’s development journey. During Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini’s two-day visit to Gujarat, discussions focused not only on investment opportunities but also on strengthening mutual inclusion and cooperation between the two states.

During the visit, Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini met members of the Haryanvi diaspora in both Surat and Ahmedabad. At these meetings, members of the diaspora shared their achievements as well as various concerns and expectations. Understanding their sentiments, the Chief Minister said the Haryana Government was committed to safeguarding their interests and expanding facilities for them.

In Surat, the Chief Minister made an important announcement that a dedicated portal would be created to ensure the prompt and effective resolution of grievances raised by Haryanvis living outside the state. Through this portal, members of the diaspora would be able to register their concerns, and their timely resolution would be ensured. The initiative is expected to strengthen the diaspora’s connection with the government.

In addition, concrete steps have been taken towards establishing a Haryana Bhawan in Gujarat, on the lines of the Haryana Bhawan in Maharashtra. The facility will serve as a centre for cultural, social and administrative activities for the Haryanvi diaspora and act as a cultural bridge between the two states.

Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini emphasised that cooperation between Gujarat and Haryana would not remain limited to economic investment but would also strengthen social, cultural and humanitarian ties. This partnership, initiated in the birthplace of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, is expected to take Haryana’s development journey to new heights.
