Delhi: While the entire nation was celebrating Independence Day with patriotism, pride, and jubilation, the Sant Nirankari Mission conveyed the divine message of inner freedom—attained through Divine Knowledge (Brahma-gyan)—to the masses on this historic occasion. This festival embodies the truth that true liberation lies not in freedom from external constraints, but in the realization of the Self and the Supreme Soul, achieved by breaking free from ignorance, ego, and discrimination.
This sacred 'Mukti Parv' was celebrated in an atmosphere filled with reverence, devotion, and joy at Ground No. 2, Nirankari Chowk, Burari Road (opposite Nirankari Sarovar, Delhi), in the holy presence of Satguru Mata Sudiksha Ji Maharaj and Nirankari Rajpita Ramit Ji. Devotees from Delhi-NCR and various other regions were overwhelmed with emotion upon receiving the holy *darshan* (sight) of the Satguru after a long interval following the successful conclusion of the Satguru's extensive welfare-oriented outreach tour abroad.
Addressing the devotees at the event, Satguru Mata Sudiksha Ji Maharaj stated that true liberation is found not in freedom from external bonds, but in liberating oneself from hatred, ego, narrow-mindedness, and prejudices. Living a life filled with love, devotion, and acceptance—while remaining conscious of the Formless (Nirankar) in every breath—constitutes liberation while still alive.
Drawing inspiration from the life of Mata Savinder Ji, Satguru Mata Ji cited the example of a lighthouse, urging everyone to maintain the inner light of peace, love, and positivity regardless of the circumstances. She emphasized that merely listening to the teachings of saints is not enough; embodying them in one's thoughts, actions, and daily life is the true path of spiritual practice and liberation.
On this sacred occasion, devotees reverently paid tribute and offered floral homage to those great saintly figures whose sacrifice and dedication guided humanity toward the path of liberation. Simultaneously, special *Satsangs* (spiritual congregations) were organized at various branches of the Mission across the globe to commemorate these great saints with reverence. It is noteworthy that ‘Mukti Parv’ (Day of Liberation) was initiated in 1964 in the sacred memory of Jagat Mata Buddhwanti Ji. Following the passing of Shahanshah Baba Avtar Singh Ji in 1969, this day began to be observed with reverence as ‘Shahanshah-Jagatmata Diwas’. In 1979, Baba Gurbachan Singh Ji established it as ‘Mukti Parv’, incorporating the memory of Sant Labh Singh Ji—the first President of the Sant Nirankari Mandal—into the occasion. On this day, the devotional life of Nirankari Rajmata Ji and the invaluable teachings imparted by her were also highlighted.
Since 2018, reverent homage has also been paid on this sacred occasion to Yug-Nirmata Mata Savinder Ji; her life—imbued with maternal affection, humility, sacrifice, and selfless service—will forever remain a source of inspiration, guidance, and spiritual energy for the devotees. Furthermore, Satguru Mata Ji utilized this sacred day to express gratitude and reverence towards all those devoted followers and dedicated volunteers who selflessly committed their bodies, minds, and lives to the service of the Mission and humanity.
Undoubtedly, the core essence of ‘Mukti Parv’ is that just as physical freedom paves the way for a nation's progress and advancement, similarly, the divine light of *Brahmgyan* (God-knowledge) enables a human being to realize their true identity and inspires them to tread the sacred path of love and harmony.
