Chandigarh, July 27:- Haryana Education Minister Mr. Mahipal Dhanda today made a surprise inspection of the Government Model Sanskrit Senior Secondary School located in Sector-26, Panchkula. During this, he thoroughly reviewed the cleanliness arrangements in the school complex, the learning environment in the classes and various basic facilities being provided to the students.
During the inspection, the Education Minister reviewed the classes, laboratories, library and playground of the school. He expressed satisfaction with the arrangements available in the school and also gave instructions to further strengthen the cleanliness arrangements. Mr. Dhanda said that the Haryana Government is fully committed to providing the best facilities to the government schools of the state, so that even the poorest of the poor children can get quality education.
While interacting with the teachers and administrative staff of the school, the Education Minister said that teachers are the builders of the nation. He directed the staff to provide education to the students in better, modern and effective ways. For the all-round development of the children, teachers should include new and interesting methods of teaching so that a natural interest in learning can be developed in the students.
Minister Mr. Mahipal Dhanda, while emphasizing the importance of sports along with education, said that only book knowledge is not enough, but students should also participate actively in sports to make them mentally and physically strong. He said that Haryana is the land of sports and future Olympians and international players are prepared from our schools.
The Minister directed the school administration to continuously encourage children to participate in sports activities and provide them with the necessary facilities.
The Education Minister said that the concept of Model Sanskrit Schools has been made with the aim of making the government education system better than private schools. The government is paying special attention to capacity building of teachers and development of infrastructure in these schools.
