New Delhi:- Amid the conflict between the US and Iran, gold and silver prices fell today. According to the India Bullion and Jewellers Association, the price of 10 grams of 24-carat gold fell by Rs 1,451 to Rs 1.52 lakh. Earlier, on Thursday, it was Rs 1.53 lakh.
Meanwhile, the price of one kilogram of silver fell by Rs 1,352 to close at Rs 2.50 lakh, which was Rs 2.51 lakh on April 16. In view of the US-Iran conflict, gold has become cheaper by Rs 7,442 and silver by Rs 16,760 in a period of 49 days. Just a day before the conflict began – on February 27 – gold was priced at ?1.59 lakh per 10 grams and silver was priced at ?2.67 lakh per kilogram.
