Hoshiarpur (Daljit Ajnoha):- “Farmers work hard in their fields throughout the season and bring their crops to the mandis. It is our responsibility to ensure that they do not face any inconvenience during procurement. Addressing the needs and problems of every section of society in my Chabbewal Assembly constituency, including farmers, is my top priority,” said MLA Dr. Ishank Kumar while visiting the Fuglana grain market to review the arrangements made for paddy procurement.
During the visit, Dr. Ishank Kumar inspected the arrangements and facilities provided for farmers at the mandi. He said it must be ensured that farmers arriving at the mandi with their paddy do not face any delay or unnecessary inconvenience while selling their produce and that the procurement process is completed smoothly.
He said that after working hard in the fields throughout the season, farmers deserve proper facilities and timely support when they bring their crops to the mandi. For this, the concerned departments should work in coordination and promptly address any problem that arises during the procurement season.
Dr. Ishank Kumar said he would continue visiting mandis and villages, interacting with residents of the constituency and seeking their feedback to ensure that their genuine problems are resolved. He reiterated that the welfare of farmers and meeting the needs of every section of society in the Assembly constituency would remain the main focus of his efforts.
