Bathinda:- Teej festival was celebrated with great enthusiasm and pomp by Satkar Mahila Club, Adarsh Nagar at the local Manoranjan Club. During the celebration, a beautiful glimpse of Punjabi culture and rich heritage was seen.
The responsibility of stage management of the function was well handled by Amandeep Kaur and Manvinder Kaur. On this occasion, Punjabi folk songs with long hek, Giddha and interesting quiz related to Teej festival were organized. Prizes were also distributed to the participants who were winners in various competitions.
Mandeep Kaur, Rajwinder Kaur, Harjeet Kaur, Manju, Gurveer Kaur, Babbu etc. played an important role in making the function successful. Punjabi folk songs, Giddha and cultural presentations made the whole atmosphere pleasant and enthusiastic.
In the end, Club President Kumari Parveen, State Awardee, thanked all the women who participated in the function. She said that such cultural events contribute significantly in keeping our rich Punjabi heritage and culture alive and taking it to the new generation.
