Dirbaba/Sangrur, July 29:- As part of the special awareness campaign being run by the Punjab government dedicated to the 650th Parkash Purb of Sri Guru Ravidas Ji Maharaj, a documentary based on the life, philosophy and great teachings of Sri Guru Ravidas Ji Maharaj was shown in village Dhandial of Dirbaba block.
On this occasion, a large number of villagers watched the documentary and resolved to adopt the message of equality, brotherhood, humanity and social justice given by Sri Guru Ravidas Ji Maharaj in their lives. The villagers present highly appreciated this effort being made by the Punjab government to spread the ideology of great saints and gurus to every household.
The village panchayat said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, the Punjab government is running a special campaign at the state level to spread the life and teachings of Sri Guru Ravidas Ji Maharaj to the people. Through this campaign, the message is being given to the young generation to take inspiration from the life of Guru Sahib and to further strengthen equality, harmony and mutual brotherhood in the society, which is a commendable step.
The village panchayat, dignitaries and a large number of villagers were present on the occasion.
