Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar, August 15, 2026:- As part of the special awareness campaign being run by the Punjab Government dedicated to the 650th Parkash Purb of Shri Guru Ravidas Ji Maharaj, a documentary based on the life, philosophy and great teachings of Shri Guru Ravidas Ji Maharaj was screened in villages Khera Gaju, Gurditpura and Ucha Khera. The villagers participated in large numbers, watched the documentary very carefully and pledged to adopt the message of equality, brotherhood and humanity of Guru Sahib.
Deputy Commissioner, Mrs. Komal Mittal, while praising this initiative of the Punjab Government, said that Chief Minister S. This effort being made by the government under the leadership of Bhagwant Singh Mann to spread the teachings of Shri Guru Ravidas Ji Maharaj to every household is very commendable. He said that the life of Guru Sahib inspires the society to live with equality, brotherhood, hard work and truth and the youth should take inspiration from his ideology and come forward for the welfare of the society. He said that such documentaries will help connect the young generation with the life, struggle and teachings of their great Gurus, which will further strengthen the spirit of mutual understanding, harmony and social equality in the society. The villagers also appreciated this initiative of the Punjab government and said that such programs play an important role in providing a positive direction to the society.
