Dhuri, July 9:- Under the special campaign launched by the Punjab Government to commemorate the 650th Prakash Purab of Sri Guru Ravidas Ji Maharaj, a 30-minute documentary based on the Guru's life, philosophy, and great teachings was screened on the second day in villages Bhojowali and Bhaddalwad of the Dhuri constituency.
Through the documentary, the message of equality, humanity, social justice, brotherhood, and service imparted by Sri Guru Ravidas Ji Maharaj was presented effectively. A large number of village residents, youth, and women watched the documentary and drew inspiration from the Guru's life.
On this occasion, Sarpanch of village Bhaddalwad, Karamjit Singh, and Sarpanch of village Bhojowali, Jagseer Singh, praised this initiative by the Punjab Government, stating that such documentaries are an effective medium to connect children and youth with the teachings of their Gurus. They added that the message of equality, mutual brotherhood, and humanity given by Sri Guru Ravidas Ji Maharaj is as relevant to society today as it was then, and every person should adopt these teachings in their life.
The villagers also appreciated this unique initiative started by the Punjab Government, noting that such efforts are providing the younger generation with information about the lives, thoughts, and invaluable contributions of their great Gurus to society.
