Hoshiarpur- On the occasion of the Parkash Purb of Sahib Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji Maharaj, the Gurdwara Management Committee, Miri Piri Sewa Simran Club Hoshiarpur, Sukhmani Sahib Sewa Society Tibba Sahib and the residents of the city organized a supernatural Nagar Kirtan from Gurdwara Shri Har Ji Sahai Mahla Tibba Sahib Hoshiarpur.
In the morning, the Kirtan Diwan began amidst the echo of chants on the occasion of the completion of the morning visit to Principal Balvir Singh Saini's home Mohalla Dashmesh Nagar Hoshiarpur. In this Nagar Kirtan, the sacred ride of the eternally immortal Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji was adorned in a very beautifully decorated special Palki Sahib vehicle. Which was being led by the Panj Pyare and the Panj Nishanchi dressed in traditional saffron attire.
During the Nagar Kirtan, Bhai Satinder Singh Alam Hazuri Raagi Gurdwara Sri Hari Ji Sahai Sahib, Bhai Jasvir Singh Haryane Wale, Bibi Kulwinder Kaur Parmar, Bibi Hardeep Kaur, Bibi Navdeep Kaur Sukhmani Sahib Sewa Society women and other sangats were walking along with the Nagar Kirtan, performing the Ras Bheera Kirtan of Shabad Gurbani. The band party was playing the melodies of Gurbani, giving a spiritual color to the atmosphere.
On this occasion, Jasbir Singh, Gurcharan Singh Grewal and the Sangat of Adarsh ??Nagar and Sant Karamjit Singh Tibba Sahib, Sant Balbir Singh Tibba Sahib Wale presented Siropa to the Panj Pyare and Rumala Sahib to Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji and also served Prasad to the Sangat. On this occasion, General Secretary of Sikh Welfare Society Hoshiarpur Jaswinder Singh Parmar, Sant Harmanjit Singh Singriwala, Sant Balbir Singh Birdh Ashram Haryana, Harjit Singh Nangal President Bhai Ghanaiya Ji Nishkam Sewak Sabha Haryana, Onkar Singh Dhami Chief Sewadar Guru Nanak Darbar Nurpur, and other prominent personalities were present.
Along the way, the Nagar Kirtan was warmly welcomed by the Sangat and served with great devotion with various types of dishes. It passed through the different streets of Mohalla Tibba Sahib and Sant Baba Sohan Singh Colony and ended at Gurdwara Sri Hari Ji Sahai Tibba Sahib, Hoshiarpur, amidst the echoes of cheers. The Gurdwara Committee thanked the Sangat and the supporting societies and Gurdwara Management Committees and informed that after the Bhog of Sri Akhand Path Sahib on November 5, a special Kirtan Diwan will be arranged at Gurdwara Sri Hari Ji Sahai Tibba Sahib.
