Ratia, February 22: The grand "eighth" Shri Sunderkand recitation and grand night vigil was held with great pomp and show at 7 p.m. Saturday in the grain market yard, courtesy of Shri Balaji Maharaj of Shri Kajalan Dham, Hisar, and under the auspices of Shri Kajalan Dham Bhagat Mandal, Ratia. With the blessings of Guruji Maharaj Kajalan Dham's source of inspiration, the revered late Shri Ramesh Kumar Joshi, Guruji Maharaj Kajalan Dham Bhaiji Shri Anjani Kumar Joshi lit the lamp and blessed the devotees, and recited Shri Sunderkand until 10 p.m.
Following this, a series of bhajans and kirtans began, which continued until dawn. A large number of devotees participated in the grand night vigil, chanting "Jai Bajrangi" and "Jai Hanuman." The divine Balaji court and flower decorations were a sight to behold. The court was decorated with colourful garlands as if heaven had descended on earth. The enchanting perfume shower captivated everyone.
In this grand night vigil, famous Bhajan singer Sheetal Pandey from Delhi, Dev Chugh from Hanumangarh, Isha Saral from Fatehabad and other artists forced the devotees to dance by presenting melodious bhajans on the glory of Shri Balaji. Balaji's unbroken langar was distributed. The grand night vigil concluded with Aarti and distribution of Prasad at 7 am. All the members of Kajalan Dham Bhakt Mandal were present on this occasion.
