Haroli (Una), 14 October:- Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri on Wednesday inspected the renovation and beautification work of a pond under construction in Beetan, in the Haroli Assembly constituency, at an estimated cost of around ₹2 crore. He reviewed the progress of the work.

Along with the beautification of the pond, a fountain, open gym, beautiful park and walking path will also be developed at the site. These facilities will provide local residents with better options for walking, exercising and recreation. Upon completion, the project will make the site a new attraction for local people.

Priority to Public Amenities and Beautification

Mukesh Agnihotri said that prioritising public amenities, cleanliness and beautification alongside regional development was his commitment. Continuous efforts were being made in this direction so that people could access better facilities in their neighbourhoods and villages could become more attractive.

He said that special attention was being given to the preservation, water conservation and beautification of traditional ponds in the Haroli Assembly constituency. These efforts would promote water conservation while also improving facilities in local areas.

It is noteworthy that the ground-breaking ceremony for the renovation and beautification of the pond in Beetan was held in April 2026. The estimated cost of the project is approximately ₹2.03 crore.
