Una, 13 October:- Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri attended the funeral of Smt. Asha Rani, mother of Vikrant Singh Thakur, at Swargdham, Una, on Tuesday and paid heartfelt tributes to her. Expressing his deep condolences to the bereaved family, he prayed for the peace of the departed soul.
Vikrant Singh Thakur is the OSD to Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri. His mother, Smt. Asha Rani, passed away on 11 October at the age of 75 after suffering from a prolonged illness.
The Deputy Chief Minister met the grieving family members and offered them his condolences and support. He prayed to God to grant the departed soul a place at His holy feet and give the bereaved family the strength to bear this immense loss.
Those who attended Smt. Asha Rani’s last journey included Kutlehar Assembly constituency MLA Vivek Sharma, Himachal Pradesh Congress Committee General Secretary Ranjit Rana, Haroli Block Congress Committee President Sandeep Agnihotri, Kangar Gram Panchayat Pradhan Vinod Kumar Bittu, Una Deputy Commissioner Jatin Lal, along with several political and administrative officials and prominent personalities. All paid tributes to the departed soul and expressed their condolences to the bereaved family.
