New Delhi:- Following the building collapse incident in Delhi's Satya Niketan, the Municipal Corporation has ordered inspections of buildings across the city. Meanwhile, the Supreme Court has said that it will hear the building collapse case on September 10. The court noted that, if necessary, the case could be transferred from the High Court to the Supreme Court.
The MCD has directed executive engineers (building) in all zones to inspect buildings in their respective areas and submit reports by September 10. The directions were issued in the wake of the incident in which seven people were killed and six injured after a building collapsed in Satya Niketan on Sunday.
