Chandigarh, February 27:- Haryana Minister of State for Sports Mr. Gaurav Gautam said that the District Sports Officer has sent an estimate of Rs. 1 crore for the renovation of the stadium in Dabwali city, which has been sent to the Haryana Urban Development Authority and the stadium will be renovated soon.
He said that there is Shaheed Bhagat Singh Sports Complex and Chaudhary Dalbir Singh Indore Stadium in Sirsa district. Shri Guru Gobind Singh Sports Complex in Dabwali and Chaudhary Sahir Ram Stadium in Chautala are sub-division level sports stadiums.
The Minister was replying to a question asked by a member of the House during the Vidhan Sabha Budget Session today.
He said that there is a residential and 50 sports nurseries in Sirsa district. There are 21 coaches and junior coaches in Sirsa. There is a facility center in Shaheed Bhagat Singh Stadium in Sirsa.
