Chandigarh, November 9 - World Cup winning Indian women's cricket team player Shafali Verma was given a grand welcome on her arrival in Rohtak on Sunday. Haryana Government Social Justice and Empowerment Minister Shri Krishan Kumar Bedi, former minister Manish Kumar Grover, Deputy Commissioner Sachin Gupta, BJP State Vice President Satish Nandal, District President Ranbir Dhaka, Mahapour Ram Avtar Valmiki, former Mahapour Manmohan Goyal and Sub-Divisional Ashish Kumar, Sampla Committee Chairman Udaybhan Malik and other prominent people of the society welcomed Shafali Verma with flowers and garlands.
Haryana Social Justice and Empowerment Minister Mr. Krishan Kumar Bedi felicitated cricketer Shefali Verma and her family at the local Circuit House by presenting them with a turban and shawl, a symbol of respect from the government.
