Nawanshahr:- As per the guidelines received from the Punjab State Legal Services Authority SAS Nagar, the Constitution Day was celebrated at the New Court Complex, S. B. S. Nagar on 26.11.2025 by the office of the District Legal Services Authority, Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar under the leadership of the Honorable District and Sessions Judge-cum-Chairman, District Legal Services Authority, Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar Smt. Priya Sood and Civil Judge (Senior Division)/ CJM-cum-Secretary District Legal Services Authority, Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar Dr. Amandeep Ji.
On this occasion, all the judicial officers, S.S. Kundra, President Bar Association, Mr. Rajinder Singh, Secretary, Bar Association and Bar Advocates, DLSA staff and all the court staff were present. On this occasion, the Honorable District and Sessions Judge-cum-Chairman, District Legal Services Authority, Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar Smt. Priya Sood addressed everyone and said that our Constitution is full of features.
According to which the freedom to work within the rules has been given. The fundamental duties of every citizen have been clearly mentioned in our Constitution. Protecting the unity and integrity of India, promoting harmony in society, ensuring the dignity of women, protecting the environment, developing scientific temper, protecting public property and taking the country to a higher level of achievements are among the fundamental duties of citizens.
Apart from this, Senior Advocate JD Jain created awareness about the Indian Constitution Day and Panel Advocate Smt Sapna Jaggi read out the Preamble of the Constitution and explained that the ideals expressed in it are complementary to each other.
Together, they create an environment in which every citizen gets the opportunity to flourish, contribute to the society and help fellow citizens. Madam Sonia Angreesh, Chairperson, Child Welfare Committee, S.B.S. Nagar was present.
