Haryana/Hisar:- The nine-day complete silent sadhana conducted by Dr. Inder Goyal, National President of Akhil Bharatiya Seva Sangh, concluded today with a proper ritual involving havan, prayer, and spiritual anushthan. This sadhana, organized with the objective of self-purification, mental concentration, and awakening of inner energy, presented an inspiring example in the spiritual and social spheres.
From January 19 to January 27, Dr. Goyal observed complete silence while daily performing morning meditation, yogic exercises, study of Vedas and Gita, contemplation on all Vedas, recitation of Durga Saptashati mantras, daily reading during Gupta Navratri, and havan yajna. During this period, he distanced himself from external communication and prioritized self-dialogue and introspection. He believes that silence connects a person to oneself and provides the experience of inner peace.
During the sadhana, he particularly contemplated the spiritual experience of 'from duality to non-duality' (dvaita se advaita). According to him, in ordinary life, a person lives in the distinction of 'I' and 'you', but through the practice of meditation and silence, this distinction begins to dissolve. In the state of advaita (non-duality), the entire creation appears as the form of one single consciousness, which naturally awakens the feeling of service, compassion, and selfless action. In his words, “In duality, work feels like a burden; in non-duality, the same work becomes service.”
On the occasion of the conclusion, Dr. Goyal said, “Silence connects us with ourselves, and action connects us with society. When sadhana and service walk together, only then does life become meaningful.”
Dr. Goyal has been associated with the Life Insurance Corporation of India for many decades and is actively involved in the fields of financial awareness and social security. He is also the author of several inspirational books, including “The Art of Living Life”, “Why Life Insurance”, “1919 Keys of Life”, and “Maun Sadhana: A Unique Experience”.
At the national level, through Akhil Bharatiya Seva Sangh, he leads programs related to service, sanskar (values/morals), ethics, and nation-building. He believes that spiritual sadhana is considered complete only when its benefits reach society and humanity.
After the sadhana, he will share his experiences on karma yoga, service spirit, and ethical work style. The program concluded with havan and prayer, followed by tea with family members, marking the complete fulfillment of the silent vow.
