Chandigarh, July 31:- Female athlete Seema Sangwan, who came from a small village in Bhiwani district to the international stage, performed brilliantly in the discus throw competition and won a bronze medal, adding another medal to the country's collection.
Chief Minister Shri Naib Singh Saini congratulated Seema Sangwan and said that Seema has brought pride to the country and the state at the international level by winning the bronze medal in discus throw with her hard work, dedication and excellent sportsmanship.
The Chief Minister further said that this historic success of Seema is a matter of pride not only for Haryana but for the whole of India. Her achievement will also inspire other young women players of the state to move forward in the field of sports and touch new heights.
The Chief Minister also emphasized that the Haryana government is committed to continuously providing encouragement and world-class facilities to the players. Today, the youth of Haryana are raising the flag of the country in every international competition, which is due to the tireless hard work of the players and the pro-sports policies of the state government.
