Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar, November 15: Children’s Day was celebrated in a joyful atmosphere by the District Red Cross Branch Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar under the leadership of Smt. Komal Mittal, IAS, Deputy Commissioner. This function was organized in the crèche being run in the District Administrative Complex in the presence of children and their parents.
On the occasion, children participated with great enthusiasm in singing, sports and dancing competitions. Mr. Harbans Singh, Secretary Red Cross Society distributed prizes to the winning children and boosted their enthusiasm. He said that such activities not only bring about a positive change in the nature of children, but also play an important role in their collective development.
The parents present expressed happiness over this initiative and appreciated the crèche for taking good care of the children.
