Chandigarh, September 15:- A grand celebration will be organised on October 18 at Sant Namdev Bhawan in Sector-21, Chandigarh, on the occasion of the 756th Prakash Dihada of Sant Shiromani Namdev Ji Maharaj. Haryana Chief Minister Shri Nayab Singh Saini will attend the event as the Chief Guest. There is special enthusiasm among the Namdev community over the Chief Minister’s presence, and a large number of devotees are expected to reach Chandigarh from Punjab and various other regions.
President of Namdev Sabha Haryana and former Chairman Shri Satbir Verma said that the participation of Chief Minister Shri Nayab Singh Saini as the Chief Guest at the Prakash Dihada celebration of Sant Namdev Ji Maharaj was a matter of happiness and pride for the community. He said that the Chief Minister’s presence had further increased enthusiasm among community members regarding the event. He said that thousands of devotees from various districts of Punjab and other regions would attend the celebration.
Haryana Public Health Engineering and Public Works Minister Shri Ranbir Gangwa and Chairman of the Uttarakhand Disaster Management Board Shri Vinay Rohila will also attend the event as special guests. The programme will be held at 11 a.m. on October 18 at Sant Namdev Bhawan, Sector-21, Chandigarh.
Secretary of Tank Kshatriya Sabha Namdev Samaj Shri Naresh Marjara said that a meeting was organised regarding preparations for the Prakash Dihada celebration. During the meeting, responsibilities for publicity and outreach in various districts of Punjab were assigned to ensure the success of the event. He said that thousands of devotees, along with Sabha representatives from all districts of Punjab, were expected to participate in the celebration.
He said that an exhibition based on the teachings, miracles and Guru message of Guru Namdev Ji would also be organised in the auditorium of Sant Namdev Bhawan. Guru Paath and Guru Langar Prasad will also be arranged during the event.
Suresh Rohila from Gurugram, Saranjit Singh Mukkar, Om Prakash Garcha, Joga Singh Dhurali, Jarnail Singh, Harvinder Singh Poorva, Sardar Jagtar Singh, Malkit Singh, along with numerous office-bearers and representatives, were present at the meeting.
