Chandigarh, September 14:- Haryana Chief Minister Shri Nayab Singh Saini attended the concluding ceremony of Shri Ram Katha organised at Shri Ram Bhawan, Kharar, late Sunday night and listened to the divine discourse on Lord Shri Ram. On the occasion, the Chief Minister offered an oblation in the Yagya and prayed for the prosperity, peace and happiness of the people of the state. He also visited the exhibition set up at Shri Ram Bhawan.
The Chief Minister said that the divine character of Lord Shri Ram is an exemplary ideal of human values, adherence to dignity, performance of duties, sacrifice and firm conduct. His entire life inspires us to remain steadfast on the path of truth and righteousness and discharge our duties with complete dedication.
Shri Nayab Singh Saini said that through his life and conduct, Lord Shri Ram established such ideals before society that will continue to guide humanity forever. He followed dignity, truth, patience and righteousness in every situation. His life teaches us that a person should not waver from his principles and duties even in the most difficult circumstances.
The Chief Minister said that Shri Ram Katha is not merely a narration of the episodes from the life of Lord Shri Ram, but also conveys the message of Indian culture, traditions and values of life. Listening to Shri Ram Katha inspires us to adopt qualities such as service, harmony, compassion, restraint and devotion to duty in our lives.
He said that the ideals of Lord Shri Ram remain equally relevant even today and show society the way to bind people together in the bonds of unity, brotherhood and mutual respect. We should adopt his ideals in our lives and contribute to the welfare of society and the country.
On the occasion, the Chief Minister visited the exhibition set up at Shri Ram Bhawan and gathered information about the various subjects displayed there. He also congratulated and extended his best wishes to the organisers for the successful conduct of Shri Ram Katha. Panchkula Mayor Shri Shyam Lal Bansal and other dignitaries were also present on the occasion.
