Chandigarh, August 28:- Haryana Chief Minister Shri Naib Singh Saini celebrated the holy festival of Raksha Bandhan at Sant Kabir Kutir on Friday with school girls, representatives of social organizations and dignitaries. On this occasion, school girls tied Raksha Bandhan to the Chief Minister. The Chief Minister showered love and blessings on the little girls and wished them a bright future. His wife Smt. Suman Saini was also present on this occasion.
On this occasion, Chief Minister Shri Naib Singh Saini said that Raksha Bandhan is the festival of sacred love, affection and trust between brothers and sisters. This festival gives us a message to respect, protect and fulfill our responsibility towards the empowerment of daughters and sisters. He said that the Haryana Government is continuously working to respect, protect and provide equal opportunities to girls to move forward.
The Chief Minister said that our daughters are the strength of the society and the state. Only by providing education, respect and a safe environment to the daughters can we build a strong society. Festivals like Raksha Bandhan further strengthen social harmony, mutual love and the spirit of brotherhood. On this occasion, representatives of various social organizations and dignitaries also extended their Raksha Bandhan greetings to the Chief Minister. The Chief Minister thanked everyone and said that social organizations are playing an important role in strengthening the spirit of service, cooperation and brotherhood in the society.
