Ratia, October 3 (Advocate Gurpreet Singh Mander):- A campaign is being conducted in various villages of the Ratia area by three teams through planned routes in connection with the October 5 protest march in Ratia seeking the release of Bandi Singhs, with the aim of encouraging maximum participation in the protest march. Providing information, Haryana Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee member Kaka Singh Ladhuvas said that a campaign has been underway in the villages and city of the Ratia area for the past three days, receiving a good response from Gurdwara committees and the Sikh Sangat.
He said that a large protest march would be taken out from Gurdwara Sri Guru Granth Sahib Sahib, Purana Bazaar, Ratia, to the Tehsil office, where a memorandum of demands would be submitted to the administration regarding the release of Singhs who have completed their sentences in jails.
For the protest programme, the first team, led by Haryana Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee member Kaka Singh Ladhuvas, along with team members Manjit Singh, Ajaib Singh Mander and Ranjit Singh, visited villages including Brahmanwala Plot, Mirana Dhani, Boda, Baliara and Teliwara, provided Gurdwara committees with information about the protest march and urged them to participate. The second team, comprising Haryana Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee member Iqbal Singh Khokhar, Gurmel Singh Sehnal, Gurjit Singh and Banta Singh, conducted outreach in villages and the city, including Hasanga, Pandari, Sheikhpur Sautar and Gurdwara Dashmesh Darbar, encouraging Gurdwara committees to participate. The third team, led by Sri Guru Granth Sahib Seva Trust President Jarnail Singh, along with team members Fateh Singh, Gurcharan Singh, Roop Singh, Jarnail Singh, Surinder Singh and Charanjit Singh, visited village Kamana and surrounding areas and urged the Sikh Sangat to participate in the protest march.
