Sangrur, October 11:- Punjab Cabinet Minister Aman Arora paid obeisance at Gurdwara Sri Angitha Sahib and participated in the kar sewa of the sacred sarovar at the commencement of the service. He said that being part of the kar sewa at this holy place was a great privilege for him and the devotees of the area. He said that the service being performed by the sangat with faith, humility and dedication was a beautiful example of the message of selfless service imparted by the Sikh Gurus.
The Cabinet Minister said that gurdwaras not only provide spiritual peace but also inspire people to work hard, share what they have and come forward to help others. The tradition of kar sewa strengthens the spirit of mutual fellowship and cooperation, as everyone contributes to the service without any discrimination. He said that such initiatives further strengthen the values of unity, brotherhood and the welfare of all in society.
Referring to the enthusiastic participation of young people, Aman Arora said that the youth of Punjab had immense potential for hard work, service and doing good for society. He said it was not appropriate to form a negative perception of the entire younger generation because of the issue of drug abuse. The enthusiasm shown by young people during the kar sewa demonstrated that, when provided with proper guidance and constructive opportunities, they came forward to fulfil their responsibilities for the welfare of society.
He said that those who guide society have a very important role to play. Negative influences can lead young people astray, whereas the message of gurdwaras guides them towards service, discipline and selfless devotion. He said that by staying connected with the teachings of the Gurus and making selfless service a part of their lives, young people could bring positive changes not only to their own lives but also to society.
The Cabinet Minister said that families in the area shared deep faith and an emotional bond with Gurdwara Sri Angitha Sahib. He expressed happiness that, since early morning, a large number of elderly people, young people, children and women had been participating in the kar sewa with complete devotion. He said that people from different generations performing service together was also an important way to connect children and young people with the tradition of selfless service.
Praising the dedication of the sangat, Aman Arora said that every devotee's contribution to the kar sewa was important. He said that when the sangat united to serve a common purpose, mutual love, respect and fellowship grew stronger. This spirit also inspires people to join hands and contribute to other welfare activities in society.
On the occasion, the Cabinet Minister thanked all the devotees and sewadars who participated in the kar sewa. He prayed that the True Sovereign bless everyone with ever-rising spirits, good health and the strength to serve, fulfil everyone's wishes and continue to shower His grace upon all humanity।
