Haroli/Una, October 11:- Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri kindled the first jyoti at the reconstructed Sheetla Mata Temple in Ispur, in the Haroli Assembly constituency, on Sunday, the first day of Sharadiya Navratri. On this occasion, he performed the religious rituals and prayed for the happiness, prosperity, peace and well-being of the people of Himachal Pradesh.
Temple priest Bal Krishna conducted the religious rituals, followed by the aarti. Extending his greetings to the people on Sharadiya Navratri, the Deputy Chief Minister prayed that Goddess Durga bless everyone with happiness, peace and prosperity. He said that the festival of Navratri symbolises devotion, faith and positive energy. The festival inspires people to strengthen harmony and the spirit of brotherhood in society.
On this occasion, the Deputy Chief Minister met the people present at the temple and listened to their problems as well. Local villagers and members of the temple committee also participated in the worship held on the temple premises.
