Patiala, September 14, 2026:- Bahujan Samaj Party leaders and workers left from Ranjit Nagar and Sirhind Road under the leadership of Joga Singh Panaudia, General Secretary Punjab, Vice President Baldev Singh Mehra, District President Major Singh Tibbi, Rural In-charge Jarnail Singh and District In-charge Surjit Singh Goria to participate in the grand event at Zira, under Firozepur, dedicated to the 365th birth anniversary of Baba Jiwan Singh Ji, who was honoured by Guru Gobind Singh Ji with the title of Rangreta Guru Ka Beta.
During this, the BSP leaders said that BSP Punjab Chief In-charge Shri Ram Ji Gautam, Central In-charge BSP Punjab Vipul Kumar, C.P. Singh, State Coordinator Prajapati Ajit Singh Bhaini, Kuldeep Singh Sardulgarh, Dr. Nachhattar Pal Singh, MLA Nawanshahr, and Dr. Avtar Singh Karimpuri, Punjab President, will participate specially in the event as the chief guests.
District President Major Singh Tibbi and Patiala Rural In-charge Jarnail Singh said that Baba Jiwan Singh, who was earlier known by the name Bhai Jaita Ji, brought the sacred head of Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji from Chandni Chowk in Delhi and handed it over to Guru Gobind Singh Ji at Sri Anandpur Sahib. Impressed by his great service and courage, Guru Ji embraced him and bestowed upon him the honour of Rangrete Guru Ke Bete and gave him the name Baba Jiwan Singh. On this occasion, Ram Das, Karnail Singh, Gurmukh Singh, Gurpreet Singh and other leaders were present.
