Ferozepur, 2nd September:- Under 'Khedan Watan Punjab Diyan-2026' Season-4 by the Sports Department of Punjab Government, in collaboration with District Administration Ferozepur, block level games are being started in different blocks of District Ferozepur. These games will start from 7th September 2026.
Giving information in this regard, Additional Deputy Commissioner (Development) Krishna Pal Rajput said that from 7th September during block level games, competitions will be held in Athletics, Volleyball (Smashing), Volleyball (Shooting) games in categories of 14, 17, 21, 21-30, 31-40, 41-50, 51-60, 61-70 and above 70 years for Men/Women. In games Kho-Kho, Football, Kabaddi (National) and Kabaddi (Circle), competitions of Under 14, 17, 21, 21-30 and 31-40 boys/girls will be held. He said that players who secure positions in block level games will be able to participate in district level games, which will be held from 21st to 26th September.
He said that sports competitions of Block Ferozepur will be held from 7th to 9th September 2026 at Sports Ground Village Dulchi Ke and its Block Incharge is Mrs. Avtar Kaur, Kabaddi Coach and her contact number is 98553-16990. Competitions of Block Mamdot will also be held from 7th to 9th September 2026 at Sports Ground Village Lakhe Ke Behram, its Block Incharge is Shri Ranjit Kamboj Wrestling Coach and contact number is 75895-36023. 
Competitions of Block Guru Har Sahai will be held from 10th to 12th September 2026 at Shri Guru Ramdas Sports Stadium, Guru Har Sahai, its Block Incharge is Shri Malkeet Singh, Athletics Coach and contact number: 99159-75600. Competitions of Block Zira will be held from 10th to 12th September 2026 at Sports Ground Village Lohke Kalan, its Block Incharge is Shri Gurjit Singh, Handball Coach and contact number: 99158-37373.
Similarly, competitions of Block Makhu will be held from 14th to 16th September 2026 at Sports Ground Village Boote Wala, its Block Incharge is Shri Gagan Mata, Swimming Coach and contact number: 75084-46001. Competitions of Block Ghall Khurd will be held from 14th to 16th September 2026 at Sports Ground Village Chandar, its Block Incharge is Shri Jagmeet Singh, Handball Coach and contact number: 98773-00059. He also said that in State level games, players aged 14 to 40 years securing first, second and third positions will also be given prize money of Rs. 10,000, Rs. 7,000 and Rs. 5,000 respectively.
On this occasion, District Sports Officer S. Gurdeep Singh appealed to the players of the district to participate in these games in maximum numbers and to make Khedan Watan Punjab Diyan-2026 Season-4 successful.
