Haryana/Hisar: On the auspicious occasion of Nirjala Ekadashi, the Bharat Vikas Parishad (Vivekananda Branch), Barwala, organized a public service event at a large tent house complex. The program was presided over by Branch President Surendra Soni. Observing this holy festival as a 'Day of Service' (Seva Diwas), the organization arranged a grand distribution of *Prasad* (blessed food offering)—specifically potato-based dishes—and a *Chhabil* (stall) serving sugarcane juice for the public. Manju Sardana served as the coordinator for this service initiative.
Speaking on the occasion, senior social worker Amit Kathuria remarked that holy festivals like Nirjala Ekadashi convey messages of service, cooperation, and humanity. He stated that every capable individual in society should come forward to serve the needy. Such service activities strengthen mutual brotherhood and social harmony within the community.
Branch Founder Dr. Sundarlal Chawla noted that the Bharat Vikas Parishad has always worked for the welfare of society with a spirit of service, values ??(*Sanskar*), and dedication. He emphasized that selfless service is true worship and affirmed that the organization would continue to undertake public welfare activities in the future.
All office bearers and members of the Vivekananda Branch attended the event with great enthusiasm and dedication. While thanking the guests, Branch Secretary Asha Chugh stated that such service activities must be continued consistently so that the benefits of service can reach the maximum number of people in society.
