Karnal, October 7: On the auspicious occasion of Karva Chauth, Bharat Vikas Parishad, Krishna Branch, Karnal, organized a special service program. The program was held at the Divyang Kendra (Industrial Home), Kunjpura Road, Karnal, and was chaired by senior council member Mr. Anil Madan.
On this occasion, the branch organized a mehndi competition, in which a total of 50 participating girls participated with enthusiasm and excitement. The participants captivated everyone with their beautiful and creative mehndi designs.
At the end of the competition, four winners were selected by the jury and awarded. Refreshments were provided to all other participants, creating a festive atmosphere.
The branch presented boxes of mehndi to all participants, enabling them to become self-reliant and generate their own income by applying mehndi to other women on the upcoming Karva Chauth celebrations on October 7, 8, 9, and 10. The objective of this initiative was to inspire women towards self-reliance and empowerment.

In addition, the female members—Mrs. Suman Arora, Mrs. Rajni Gupta, and Mrs. Rajni Puri—were instrumental in successfully completing the program, whose dedication and service ensured the successful completion. Members present during the program expressed that such events promote women's self-confidence and self-reliance in society. When women become empowered, both the family and society prosper.
At the end of the program, Branch President Mr. Anil Madan thanked all participants and members and said that Bharat Vikas Parishad, Krishna Branch, has always been at the forefront of upliftment and service to all sections of society. The Council's objective is to promote values, cooperation, and dedication in society.
