Nawanshahr, June 1: Under the guidance of All India Ad Dharam Mission's National Chairman Bibi Kamlesh Kaur Ghera and National President Shri L.R. Virdi, a special meeting was held at Shri Guru Ravidas Historical Shrine, Charanchoh Ganga Amritkund, Sachkhand Shri Khuralgarh Sahib, to plan the 100th-anniversary celebrations of Ad Dharam Mandal. The meeting was presided over by the committee chairman and retired District Education Officer, Shri Nazar Ram Maan, and was attended by committee president Sant Surinder Das, along with other leaders and members, who unanimously approved the proposed plans.
Addressing the gathering, Chairman Shri Nazar Ram Maan said that on June 11-12, 1926, Babu Mangu Ram Mugowalia called a gathering of the then-considered "untouchable" people near Mugowal village, Mahilpur, which was attended by nearly 10,000 people. Although the caravan of the Ad Dharam Mandal, founded in that gathering, has traveled thousands of miles, we must work day and night to take this movement to its ultimate goal. He emphasized that we must break the chains of slavery by establishing the rule of our ancestors in India.
Committee President Sant Surinder Das stated that preparations for the centenary have begun, and teams have been campaigning across various states of the country, due to which a massive gathering of devotees from all corners of India is expected at Shri Khuralgarh Sahib on June 11-12, 2026. He mentioned that all arrangements are complete, and responsibilities have been assigned to workers.
The series of events will begin on June 10, when a procession will go to Mugowal village to pay floral tributes at the statue of Babu Mangu Ram Ji, followed by the leaders and workers paying obeisance at his Samadhi in Garhshankar. On the night of June 11, singers and missionary speakers will shed light on the life and struggle of Babu Mangu Ram Mugowalia, followed by the honoring of special guests and artists. On June 12, after performing the necessary rituals, Kirtani Jathas and speakers will throw light on the historic significance of the mission.
