Hoshiarpur: The “Distinguished Service Award 2025” was presented on December 14, 2025, at the 12th International Conference on “Sustainable Global Business Practices and Inclusive Growth” held in Indore (Madhya Pradesh), in recognition of outstanding contributions to the welfare and social service of special needs children.
This award was given for exemplary work in the field of philanthropy and social services, symbolizing the national and international appreciation for the continuous efforts of Atmasukh Atmadev Ashram (for Living Gods) towards the empowerment and holistic development of children with special needs.
The award, signed by Colonel Dr. V.K. Gautam, a renowned scholar and pioneer in the field of intellectual disability, holds special emotional significance as it is established in memory of his parents.
On this occasion, Mr. Navdeep Sood, Chief Servant of the Tek Chand Sood Charitable Trust, also mentioned that this achievement is not merely personal, but a result of the continuous and selfless cooperation of the dedicated teachers and staff of Atmasukh Atmadev Ashram, as well as the trustees of the Tek Chand Sood Charitable Trust and Jaswanti Sood Charitable Trust.
This award serves as an inspiration to further strengthen the dedication towards serving children with special needs—“Living Gods”—and the ongoing efforts towards social inclusion.
