Una, November 4: Auditions for the cultural evenings of the Mata Shri Chintpurni Mahotsav-2025 continued enthusiastically for the second day in the auditorium of Amb College. Local artists, as well as participants from other districts, showcased their talent before the jury.
It is noteworthy that the audition process began on November 3rd. After the November 5th holiday, the final round will be held on November 6th.
**Application Process for Auditions**
Artists can submit their applications to the SDM office in Amb. Interested participants can also send their applications to the email address [email protected]. Additionally, applications are being accepted on the spot.
**Administration preparations in full swing**
Deputy Commissioner Jatin Lal stated that this year, the festival's cultural presentations will prioritize the sentiments, traditions, and social messages of Mata Shri Chintpurni. He added that all preparations are underway at a war footing to ensure quality and high-quality performances on stage. Various committees have been formed to ensure the smooth conduct of the event, and they are actively fulfilling their respective responsibilities.
This festival, which elevates religious and cultural tourism to new heights, will be celebrated with devotion, enthusiasm, and joy from November 14th to 16th. It is noteworthy that the first edition of the festival, held at Amb Maidan from September 26th to 28th last year, was a great success. This event not only won the hearts of devotees and tourists but also established its unique identity in the state's religious-cultural calendar.
Meanwhile, Shri Chintpurni MLA Sudarshan Bablu said that under the guidance of Chief Minister Thakur Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu, the state government is continuously striving to promote religious and cultural tourism. With this very purpose, the Mata Shri Chintpurni Festival was launched last year, which was a huge success. He said that this year, the festival will not only be a celebration of faith and culture but will also provide new direction and momentum to the region's economic, social, and tourism progress.
