Una, November 6 – Auditions for the cultural evenings of the Mata Shri Chintpurni Mahotsav-2025 concluded on Monday after a three-day process. Artists from various districts of the state, including Una, showcased their talents at the auditions held at the Amb College auditorium. The selection committee was impressed by the diverse array of dance, music, and folk arts.
**A grand opening ceremony will be held on November 14th with a procession and the installation of the Pawan Jyoti**
Deputy Commissioner Jatin Lal informed that the Mata Shri Chintpurni Mahotsav will be held at the Amb grounds from November 14th to 16th. The festival will commence on November 14th with a grand procession and the installation of the Jyoti of Mata Shri Chintpurni. Renowned artists from the state and country, as well as international cultural groups, will grace the three-day festival with their performances.
**Preparations in the Final Stage**
The Deputy Commissioner stated that various committees have been formed to ensure the festival is held with grandeur and public participation. All committees are rapidly carrying out their respective responsibilities to ensure a memorable festival.
**Second Edition of the Festival**
It is noteworthy that the first edition of the Mata Shri Chintpurni Festival, held at Amb Maidan from September 26 to 28 last year, was a huge success. This event not only attracted devotees and tourists but also established a unique identity in the religious and cultural calendar. This integration of faith, tradition, and folk culture made the festival an inspiring celebration of public faith.
**Public participation is the strength of the festival**
MLA Sudarshan Bablu stated that this festival is not merely a religious event, but a vibrant theater of cultural identity, social concerns, and regional identity. As per the instructions of Chief Minister Thakur Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu, this time public participation in the event is being given a wider scope, so that this festival can become stronger as a positive cultural initiative connecting the society.
