Una, August 25: Applications have been invited for 12 vacant posts of Anganwadi Workers and 27 vacant posts of Anganwadi Helpers under the Una Child Development Project. CDPO Una, Shiv Singh, stated that interested candidates can submit their applications—written on plain paper—at the Child Development Project Office, Una, by 5:00 PM on September 26. Shiv Singh informed that one post of Anganwadi Worker each will be filled at the following centers: Dathwara, Barnoh (Harijan Mohalla Jhambar), Dangoli, Dangoli Tarkhana Mohalla, Raipur-2, Raipur Bahti Mohalla, Vehli Mohalla-1, Pulwala Bazar Una, Badsala Khambuan da Mohalla, Takka, Khanpur-1, and Bhadolian Kalan Jhigla Vehra.
Meanwhile, one post of Anganwadi Helper each will be filled at the following locations: Raipur Tarkhan Mohalla, Raipur-1, Basdehra Center No. 15, Brahmin Mohalla Lamlehra, Nangran, Badaihar Chilanwala Mohalla, Sunehra, Nangran Bahti Mohalla-3, Nangran Bahti Mohalla-5, Ajauli Bahti Jat Mohalla-2, Binewal, Sanoli Rajput Mohalla, Upper Arniyala Adarsh ??Nagar, Lower Kotla Kalan Tarkhana Mohalla, Upper Kotla Kalan, Lower Arniyala, Lower Kotla Kalan, Khanpur-2, Chadatgarh Wajitpur, Badsala, Bhalola, Basoli-1, Neela Ghat, Ward No. 7 & 11, Lal Singi, Dathwara, and Barnoh.
**Educational Qualification and Criteria**
CDPO Una, Shiv Singh, stated that the minimum educational qualification prescribed for the post of Anganwadi Helper is a pass in the 12th standard. The applicant must be between 18 and 35 years of age. The candidate must be a resident of the area surveyed by the respective Anganwadi center. The annual family income of the applicant must not exceed ?50,000; a certificate to this effect must be certified or countersigned by a Naib Tehsildar, Tehsildar, or Executive Magistrate.
**Interview Process**
Selection for the advertised posts will be based on merit, with a total of 25 marks available. For the positions of Anganwadi Worker and Anganwadi Helper, a maximum of 10 marks will be awarded for educational qualifications based on the percentage of marks obtained in the Class 12 (10+2) examination; specifically, marks will be calculated on a pro-rata basis up to a maximum of 7 marks. Candidates possessing higher educational qualifications will receive 3 additional marks: 2 marks for a bachelor's degree and 1 mark for a postgraduate degree or higher.
A maximum of 3 marks will be awarded for work experience. Individuals who have worked for at least 10 months in the respective Panchayat—serving as an Anganwadi Worker, Anganwadi Helper, Bal Sevika, Balwadi Teacher, Nursery Teacher, Tailoring Teacher, or ECCE Child Caregiver—will receive one mark for each year of experience, subject to a maximum of 3 marks. Women with a disability of 40% or more will be awarded 2 marks, provided the disability does not hinder the discharge of their job responsibilities.
SC/ST/OBC candidates will receive 2 marks. Additionally, 3 marks will be awarded to residents of state homes or girls' ashrams, orphans, widows, destitute women, divorcees, married women whose husbands have been untraceable for the past 7 years, and women abandoned by their husbands who are currently living with their parents.
Finally, 2 marks will be awarded to the unmarried daughter of a family with two daughters and no sons, or to a married woman who has two daughters and no sons. 3 marks will be awarded for the personal interview.
