Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar, July 14:- Along with literary activities, the Department of Language, Punjab, also provides training in Punjabi shorthand at district headquarters across the state for the promotion and dissemination of the Punjabi language. In this series, admissions for basic training and high-speed Punjabi shorthand classes for the 2026-27 session have begun.
Providing information in this regard, Dr. Darshan Kaur, Research Officer, Department of Language, Punjab, stated that the minimum educational qualification for admission to these courses is graduation, and the last date to submit the application form is August 20, 2026. The interview for candidates for basic training and high-speed classes will be held on August 26, 2026, at 10:00 AM at the District Language Office, S.A.S. Nagar. On this day, candidates must be present for the interview at the scheduled time along with all their original educational certificates and required documents.
