Mahilpur, May 7:- For the new session 2026-27 admissions, Sri Guru Gobind Singh Khalsa College, Mahilpur, opened a special admission center today in village Padrana of Garhshankar Tehsil to provide career guidance and counseling facilities to students. On this occasion, Block Samiti Member S. Principal Surjit Kumar and Village Padrana Sarpanch Jarnail Singh inaugurated the admission center in the presence of College Principal Dr. Parvinder Singh and the staff.
During the event, Principal Surjit Kumar shared welcoming remarks and assured all kinds of cooperation. Village Sarpanch Jarnail Singh invited students to visit the center to choose their future-oriented courses. Addressing the gathering, Principal Dr. Parvinder Singh stated that Khalsa College Mahilpur is committed to connecting students from all sections of society with new higher education courses at low fees.
He remarked that while the commercialization and privatization of education have created numerous crises for the poor, institutions operating with a missionary spirit have always supported needy and bright students.
He further mentioned that special financial aid for needy and meritorious students, various scholarship amounts, and modern facilities are helping students build a bright future, and many new courses have been launched at the institution. He urged the students of the area to visit this admission center to get information regarding various courses according to their choice. In the end, Dr. J.B. Sekhon shared words of gratitude for the village Panchayat and the residents present.
