Ambala, December 11:- Adesh Medical College and Hospital, located at GT Road, Mauhri, today took another important step towards environmental protection and development by formally inaugurating a state-of-the-art 1132 KW Solar Power Plant at the Adesh Campus. This ambitious project was inaugurated by Dr. HS Gill, Chairman, Adesh Group.
Dr. Gill said that in view of the energy crisis and rising pollution levels, adopting renewable energy is the need of the hour. He further said that Adesh Group has always been committed to the welfare of the society and conservation of nature and this solar project is a strong step in that direction.
He further said that with the commissioning of this solar power plant, a significant part of the campus’s electricity requirements will now be met through it. This will reduce the dependence on conventional energy sources and make a significant contribution to environmental protection. Dr Guntas Singh Gill, MD, Aadhesh, said that this project is not only significant from the perspective of energy generation but also serves as an inspiring model for students.
This solar power plant, set up by Aadhesh Group, reflects the institution’s commitment to green energy. This initiative will play a key role in establishing the campus as a green campus model in the coming years. He said that Aadhesh Campus has set a new standard in the renewable energy sector and has taken a significant step towards a clean, safe and sustainable future.
