Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar, January 19, 2026: In exercise of the powers vested in it under Section 6 (1) (e) of the Punjab Travel Professional Regulation Act-2012, Additional District Magistrate Mrs. Geetika Singh has cancelled the license of My Visa Point Firm.
According to the Additional District Magistrate, My Visa Point Firm S.C. F No: 69, 2nd Floor, Phase-2, Mohali, District Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar, owner Nitish Vij son of Rakesh Chandra Vij resident of House No. H.L, 62, Phase-7, Sector-61, Mohali, has been granted license No. 410/IC for consultancy work. Date 28.09.2020 was issued, which expired on date 27.09.2025. Based on the report of the Senior Superintendent of Police in the presence of the licensee dated 30.9.2021, the name of the firm was changed from My Visa Point to Your Visa Point dated 13.10.2021.
The Additional Deputy Commissioner said that, by not sending information regarding monthly reports and advertisements as per the Act/Rules and Advisory by the licensee, not getting the license renewed, not following the clauses of the license, not replying/giving clarification to the notice, the firm and the licensee have violated the provisions of Section 6(1)(e) of the Punjab Travel Professional Regulation Act-2012.
In view of the above facts, in exercise of the powers conferred under the provisions of Section 6(1) (e) of the Punjab Travel Professional Regulation Act-2012, the License No. 410/IC dated 28.09.2020 issued to Your Visa Point Firm has been revoked/cancelled with immediate effect.
Apart from this, as per the Act/Rules, if in future any complaint etc. is received against the said Company/Firm/Partnership or its Licensee/Directors/Partner of the Firm, then the said Company/Director/Partner/Licensee shall be liable in all respects for the same and shall also be liable to compensate the same.
