Karnal, 12 March: A special atmosphere of excitement was created at a private marriage garden located on Indri Road in Karnal when the groom arrived with his wedding procession from Ambala by helicopter. As soon as the helicopter landed in the marriage garden, curiosity increased among the people present there, and a large number of people gathered at the spot to witness this unique scene. During the event, a police force was also deployed for security purposes.
Gurusevak, a resident of village Panjokhra in Ambala, is an advocate by profession, while his father Sarvjeet Singh Shankar is a property dealer. Gurusevak’s marriage had been arranged with Chartered Accountant Meenakshi, a resident of Indira Colony in Karnal. To make the wedding special, the family planned to bring the groom’s wedding procession by helicopter.
It was reported that about 6 lakh rupees were spent on arranging the helicopter. Groom Gurusevak said that his father Sarvjeet Singh Shankar had long cherished the dream that his son would go with his wedding procession by helicopter. The family together fulfilled this dream. He said that his sister, brother-in-law, and niece also came with him in the helicopter, while the other members of the wedding procession reached Karnal by vehicles.
As soon as the groom descended from the helicopter, he was welcomed in a traditional manner. The bride’s sisters came forward and sweetened the groom’s mouth and performed the rituals. Sisters-in-law Renu and Sonia said that their brother-in-law had arrived with the wedding procession by helicopter, which created a unique atmosphere of excitement and happiness in the wedding. 
They said that after the farewell ceremony, their sister Meenakshi will also go to her in-laws’ house by helicopter, which has created a special atmosphere of happiness in the family.
